Getting Married

College students expect to walk from school with a degree, but is there a possibility that they could also leave with a much better chance at walking down the aisle?

A primary component of school is socializing and it is not far off to believe the people you meet in college will stay your lifelong friends, as well as partner.

“I did my growing up, and so I feel like I could see myself marrying someone from college,” said pupil Cole Hagle.

Based on a study by Facebook Data Science, which examined a percentage of Facebook users profile tips, “about 28% of married college-grads attended precisely the same college.”

The analysis also found that the majority of couples who wed from the same school attend a spiritual established faculty.

Though the percentage of college students wedding from the exact same college looks low, scientists have shown a link in school instruction and high union rates.

“The long run tendencies on entry into union clearly reveal that less-educated adults have become less prone to ever get married.”

From this study, it may seem that although faculty educated individuals are far more prone to get married, they are also more unlikely to take the monumental step immediately following graduation.

With regard to whether or not getting married right after college is too soon, pupil Johnny Orta said, “yes, you both have so much life to live, there’s simply no rush.”

Naturally not all pupils feel exactly the same manner although, this is a valid response.

Pupil Ashley Thomas, who’s now engaged into a fellow CSUSB alumnus, feels marriage after college graduation is perfectly fine as long as it’s together with the individual that is right.

“I think marrying after faculty is favorable in the sense that you both are growing together and have anyone to live your own life with, especially in the difficult stages,” said Thomas.

It is practical to say money may be a standard dilemma in unions directly from school, using many of college student’s needing to repay student loans after graduation.

“The negative is the fact that you have to accept the fact that financially it’ll be difficult, since you both are still youthful in your careers, but when you go into it sober-mindedly you are able to work out the issues,” said Thomas.

Regardless of past research, when it comes down to it, determining when to wed relies on personal beliefs, desires, student debt, and overbearing parents.
